Helpful for busy weeknights

I signed up for the monthly subscription after my free trial ran out. I mostly use the 30 Minute Meal Plan and the Budget Grocery List. The grocery lists are pretty accurate, though sometimes I swap out an ingredient or two based on what I have. The recipes were easy to follow and the meals were generally tasty. We tried a few of the Kid Friendly Recipes and my picky eaters even liked some of them. It took a few days to get used to the online interface, but now it's straightforward. Customer support was quick when I had a question about customizing my plan. I've found it helps me save time during the week and cuts down on impulse buys at the store, so that's a win.

Hey, anyone know how this compares to eMeals? I've been eyeing both for a while now but can't decide.

I tried eMeals before this one. 5 Dollar Meal Plan feels more focused on budget, like the name suggests. eMeals felt a bit pricier for the ingredients it suggested sometimes.

From what I remember, 5 Dollar Meal Plan gives you the grocery list too, which is super helpful. Both are planning services, not delivery, so it really comes down to whether you want super cheap meals or more variety/gourmet stuff.

Thinking about signing up for this, but wondering if the recipes are actually good for families with picky eaters? My kids are super particular.

Yeah, they have a 'Kid Friendly Recipes' section. I've used some from there and my little ones actually ate them, which is a win.

I think they do, like, kid-friendly meal plans specifically. So you don't have to sift through everything, which is nice.
